Request for Expression of Interest-Zenica mine closure
Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry (FMERI) is seeking to appoint a consultancy company to support the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry (FMERI), Zenica coal mine (RMU Zenica) and the utility company Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) in closing the underground mine Raspotočje. This consultancy supports the preparation and implementation of priority mine closure measures, including removal of the underground mining equipment and ground stabilization, mine water management, the environmental remediation of surface facilities, and strengthening institutional capacity for safe and environmentally sound closure, in support of a responsible and orderly mine closure process.
